Dr. Heidi L. Kamrath completed her Bachelor of Arts degree at the University of California at San Diego. She spent the next three years in New York as a research technician at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center before entering dental school at The Ohio State University.

After graduating OSU, Dr. Kamrath returned to the West Coast and completed an AEGD residency at the University of California at San Francisco. She stayed on at UCSF as a Fellow in the Department of Stomatology, doing research, teaching, and maintaining a faculty practice.

The advent of the surgical operating microscope drew Dr. Kamrath to endodontics and she received her certificate from the University of California at Los Angeles in 1999. She spent 15 years teaching at the UCLA Endodontic Continuum from 1998-2013.
